The Zen Register · programme rules, version 1.0
The Rules
One page, in plain language, because a rule a boutique manager cannot recite is a rule that is not enforced. Every figure on this screen is measured against the last twelve months of trade, and every control in the simulator moves against the same rows.

How a Facet is earned
1 Facet per ₹100 of eligible spend. A Facet is worth ₹1 of Reward Value.
Facets are earned on the diamond and the craft, not on the gold rate. The bullion component of a bill is priced by the market on the morning of the sale and carries no margin of ours to give away, so it is excluded from eligible spend before a single Facet is counted. Across the last twelve months that exclusion removed ₹12.1Cr from the earning base — 75% of a named bill earns, on average.
Category multipliers · twelve-month weight
Accrual away from the till — exactly three
Nothing for follows, reviews or referrals. At a ₹1.5 lakh ticket, paying for advocacy reads as insecurity.
How Reward Value is applied
In boutique, at the counter, against the bill in front of her.
The ceiling
Up to 10% of invoice value on any one transaction. On a ₹1,50,000 invoice that is ₹15,000.
Blocks and minimum
Applied in 1,000-Facet blocks, minimum 1,000 Facets. A member holding 4,120 Facets applies ₹4,000 and carries 120 forward. A ₹340 balance never appears at the till.
Care & Access, at 3×
Facets convert at ₹1 each against price, and at 3× against the Care & Access catalogue. 44% of redeemed Facets took the second route this year, turning ₹17.0L of Facets into ₹31.0L of value the client can feel.
Authorisation
One-time passcode to the registered mobile on every redemption; a boutique manager’s PIN above ₹50,000 of Reward Value.
Where
Six boutiques accept redemption. Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio is a partner counter — enrolment enabled, redemption disabled. No online redemption in version one.
What it is called
On the slip, on the screen and out loud: Member Reward Value applied. Never a discount, never an offer. The word is the policy.
Holds, expiry and reactivation
The three clauses that decide whether a balance ever comes back through the door.
15 / 30
Days on hold
15 days on a boutique purchase, 30 online, mirroring the return window, so a reversal can never create a negative balance. Held Facets show as pending on her card with the credit date stated. Members currently hold 1,08,910 Facets on hold.
24 months
Expiry from earn
Not twelve. A twelve-month clock against a twelve-to-eighteen-month repurchase cycle is a churn event dressed as a policy. The date is stated quietly on the card and nowhere else — no countdowns, no urgency, ever.
Any visit
Reactivation
Any purchase, or any booked care visit, reactivates the entire balance for a further 24 months. Booking a free cleaning resurrects a lapsed balance — the cheapest re-engagement lever in the programme.
No redemption against certified diamond value on Signature Solitaires
Reward Value applies to making and design only. The stone is never marked down, in any form, by any mechanism. This is the single strongest protection for price integrity in the programme.
One member privilege per transaction
If a festive promotion or a making-charge waiver is already on the bill, the counter refuses the redemption. The client never gets to compute a combined percentage, so the brand never becomes a bargaining surface.
The ladder
Qualification on cumulative invoice value over a rolling 36 months. 11,840 members placed today.

Note the asymmetry, and say it out loud in the room: you are measured on what you have entrusted to us, and you earn on what we made. Tier is derived nightly from the transaction table, never stamped by hand. Solitaire holds 212 unfilled seats and is the only rung nobody can buy their way onto.

Rules and consequences
Two instruments against the same ledger. The first prices a single bill. The second prices the whole programme, and will happily show you a version of the register that loses money.

At 1 Facet per ₹100 the 10% ceiling is a guardrail, not a cost control — the counter could absorb 8.6× the Facets the programme issues. It exists to keep a single bill from ever reading as a concession.

Care & Access
Where a Facet is worth 3× — and where it never competes with a privilege a tier already grants.
Exclusivity holds: not one of these items duplicates a privilege any tier already gives free. Where a tier grants a seat, the catalogue sells only the guest seat. Every Facet spent here is a client back inside a boutique for forty minutes with an advisor who has her book open — which is why 44% flowing this way is tracked as a health metric and not as a cost.
